Dans une première partie, l'auteur effectue une étude bibliométrique des essais contrôlés randomisés en acupuncture en général [1] et dans le domaine neuropsychiatrique en particulier. Dans ce domaine, les grands axes de la recherche clinique sont présentés.

Dans une deuxième partie l'auteur dresse l'état des revues méthodiques et méta-analyses réalisées en neuropsychiatrie [2-12].
